What TOEFL score do I need to be admitted to IU?
Indiana University does not require the TOEFL for undergraduate admission. Instead, you must:
- Take the Indiana English Proficiency Exam before you may register
- Complete all classes indicated by the Proficiency Exam
You will need a TOEFL score for undergraduate studies if you:
- Intend to major in music
- Wish to be considered for a limited Merit Scholarship
- Are seeking admission to the University Honors Division
Please note: If your TOEFL score is below 500, you should expect to enroll in full-time English before you begin your academic course work.
