Limousine Service and Shuttle

We are currently recommending that students use the Classic Touch Limousine Service for transportation from the Indianapolis airport to Bloomington.  The current rates are:

  1. A 20% gratuity for the driver is expected. You give the gratuity directly to the driver when you arrive at your destination.
  2. For round-trip reservations, you pay the entire fare either in advance or when you check-in with Classic Touch at the ground transportation center at the Indianapolis airport.
  3. Children under two travel free with parents.  You may be sharing the limousine with others; these prices are for your group only.
  4. Refunds for cancellations require 24 hour advance notice.
  5. Two bags and carry-on per seat reserved, and bags can be up to 70 pounds and 62 linear inches. There are more details on the Classic Touch website. You can reserve your transportation online, by telephone, fax or email. Please note that he online reservation form works best with Internet Explorer. It didn't seem to do well with either Netscape or Firefox browsers.

After you get your luggage at the Indianapolis airport, please go directly to the Classic Touch booth, which is located in the ground transportation center, outside and across from the baggage claim areas.     Bloomington Shuttle

    There is also a mini-bus called the Bloomington Shuttle, which leaves the airport from the ground transportation center, as well.  The cost for the Shuttle is $22.00 each way, and it is best to make reservations.  Shuttle tickets are purchased from vending kiosk machines at the airport using either cash or a major credit card (Visa or MasterCard).  A machine is located inside at each pick-up location.  The tickets do not expire so please purchase your return fare in advance to avoid delays during busy travel periods.  The shuttle drivers DO NOT sell tickets and cannot accept cash for transportation.  Here is a link to the Shuttle faq.

    Also, the shuttle does not take you directly to your dorm from the airport, so you will need to have someone pick you up when you reach Bloomington, or call a cab (Yellow Cab 339-9744 - some dorms and hotels have free phone lines to the cab company).  The Shuttle stops are: 1) the Hampton Inn (north), McNutt (central), IU Memorial Union (central), Courtyard Marriott (central/southwest).
